Providing Child Care for children aged 3 months to 5 years

Little Tigers - 0 months to 2 years

Little tigers consists of a spacious room equipped with its own Sleep area, milk kitchen and changing room. Staff liaise with Parents to ensure home routines are followed to provide continuation of care for all children.

Little Leopards - 2 to 3 years

Little Leopards is large bright colourful room enables children to explore and have fun at their own pleasure. Staff are very enthusiastic and offer a wide range of activities. From messy exploring to reading stories.

Little Lions - 3 to 5 years

Lions is a large room set out into different areas to encourage All areas of development. Children are encouraged to help themselves and make their own choices. Lions regularly have use of the attached primary school for PE and Music sessions to help children prepare for their transition to school.

Tiger Club - 5 to 12 years

Tiger club is an out of school club for children aged 5 to 12 years. Breakfast club sets children up for their day at school. After school club provides many activities as well as homework help or just a place to rest after a busy day at school. Holiday club provides a fun time with many activities based inside and outside.

Activities and development

Our practitioners understand how important play and exploration is for children’s development. Here at Little Tigers Day Nursery we carefully observe children in their natural play to plan and organise activities to extend on children’s learning and development. All planning of activities is done through using the Early years foundation stage framework. Childen’s development and progress is recorded in a profile which is accessible at anytime by the child’s parents and childcare professionals only.
