Setting Manager - Supernumery
My name is Claire and I am the manager at Little Tigers Day Nursery. I have worked with all age ranges and pride myself on our ability at the nursery to adapt to the needs of every child as an individual and help to give them the best start in life. I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Years/English and the Early years professional status (EYP). I am the Safeguarding officer at the nursery and the safety and welfare of all our children and families are at the heart of everything we do.

Assistant Manager - Supernumery

I’m Tanya, I’m the assistant manager at Little Tigers Day Nursery and I have worked here since 2007. I hold a level 5 qualification in childcare and education and an NVQ level 3 in management. I am also the Health and Safety coordinator and the Senco for the setting. I work in and manage the Ravensthorpe Primary School Breakfast club and out of school services.

Hello, my name is Lorraine. I started looking after children as a childminder, 20 years ago. I have worked at a preschool for 8 years, and have worked through the relevant childcare levels and am currently a Level 3 which I have held since July 2013. I have experience working with a diverse range of children from the age of 2 up to 4, with a variety of abilities and needs. I am the setting lead SENCO and work with the children, families and local services. I am a mum of 3 and have a grandson. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family, cooking, and gardening. I also enjoy watching 2 of my children competing at National level in Taekwondo as black belts.

My name is Viki I have many years of experience of working in childcare. I have spent five years working with babies, 1 year with preschool and now I currently work with the 2-3-year-olds. I have a level 2 qualification and am currently working towards my level 3. I have 2 grown up children of my own and my hobbies include cooking, baking and decorating cupcakes.

Amanda is a mother to 3 children and enjoys spending time at home with her family. Amanda enjoys arts and crafts and going out with friends. Amanda has many years of experience working in childcare settings and particularly enjoys caring for children under to years of age.

Debs describes herself as a bubbly fun person who enjoys working with children of all ages. Debs is also a scout leader for children aged 8 to 10 years and enjoys game nights, survival weekends and camping. In her spare time, she likes to go for walks and cycle rides and she enjoys crafts such as making keyrings and bracelets.

Emma describes herself as a very creative person which allows her to plan and carry out lots of fun activities with the children. She really enjoys her role and finds it rewarding watching the children grow and learn new skills

Arifa has lots of experience of working in a nursery environment and loves to get involved with all activities. Arifa enjoys exploring cultural celebrations and sharing her knowledge with the children. Arifa has complete a level 5 qualification.

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Sophie is the eldest of 3 children and has experience of caring for children. Sophies interests are animals, arts and crafts, and horses. Sophie has adopted some ponies and a horse. Her hobbies include cycling and spending time with her family. Sophie has experience working in different childcare settings.

Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Louise is married with 2 children who both attend school. Louise has worked in childcare since 1998 and has worked in some different settings with different age groups. Louise enjoys spending time with her family especially going to the zoo, seaside and going on holidays.

Ella has experience of working with children of different ages and has previously worked as a carer supporting people in their own homes who required some help with day to day routines. Ella is a bubbly person who is very keen to extend her knowledge and complete a level 3 qualification.

Karolyn has many years of experience in many different positions within nurseries. Karolyn loves to make the children’s days fun and enjoy’s exploring new activities and going above and beyond to make the smallest of activities seem exciting and educational.

Zoe has experience of working with children in different settings and likes working with and supporting children with additional needs. Zoe has a big family and enjoys spending time with them.

Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
Sam is currently expecting her first child in October 2018. Sam is hoping to work towards her level 3 qualification to build on her skills and knowledge in the future. Sam has experience working with children in different age groups.

Katherine is a level 3 qualified practitioner who is currently studying for her BA(Hons) in Early Years. She has been working in childcare since 2012 and find every part of her job rewarding. In her free time, she enjoys running, going to the gym, reading and traveling.

Zoe has worked in childcare for over 8 years with babies up to preschool children. She enjoy’s her job and love to see the children grow up and learn new skills. She likes to draw and make things. She loves to find out about cultures and languages. In her spare time Zoe likes to spend time with her family and friends watching movies, shopping and visiting new places.

Christine has two grown-up children of my own and 5 grandchildren. She manages the nursery kitchen and housekeeping team and is also a level 2 qualified practitioner in early years care. She has worked throughout the nursery supporting rooms, covering practitioner breaks and preparing meals for the children. She enjoys every minute of her role as she gets to see the whole nursery in action and meet lots of different children.

Kathy has worked with families, children and young people from birth to 16 years for over 26 years in Peterborough. She has been fortunate to work at family project, preschool and children’s centres where she has been able to achieve qualifications for her roles. She currently holds a BA(Hons) degree in Early Years. Working with children is a rewarding experience, she enjoy’s working with children under 5 and see how they develop through play.

Hajrah has been working for Little Tigers Day Nursery and Preschool for a long time and loves working in all of the age groups, Hajrah is able to adapt to all ages and covers in the rooms in staff absences or holidays. Hajrah’s hobbies include cooking, activities and fun adventures with her family.

Kirstin has just completed her level 2 qualification with Little Tigers Day Nursery as an apprentice and is now working as a part of our bank staff team. Kirstin is looking to start a level 3 qualification to build on her knowledge further in the future. Kirstin has experience of working in all of the rooms in Little Tigers Day Nursery.

Ria describes herself as a happy and outgoing person. This is Ria first position working with children after finishing the sixth form at school. Ria has been a swim teacher and enjoys watching Netflix, spending time with her friends and family.
